The Mercury Insurance Open presented by Tri-City Medical Center will take place here on the beautiful La Costa tennis courts from July 14-22, 2012. The annual tennis tournament features some of the best professional women tennis players in the world in a 28-player singles draw and a 16-team doubles draw with a total prize money purse of $740,000. This premier WTA event is also part of the summer's Emirates Airline US Open Series.

      The Mercury Insurance Open will host a special ceremony recognizing veterans, military personnel, police and firemen following the first evening session match. All veterans and current military, police and fire personnel receive (2) complimentary tickets for the evening session. Show proper ID at the Box Office. Other activities will take place during the day. Please check back.

Bridget Naso, notable journalist of San Diego's KUSI will be emcee. Please join us for an afternoon of cocktails, appetizers and professional models wearing today's chicest designs.
