La Costa’s All-New State-of-the Art
EXECUTIVE LEARNING CENTER
November
15, 2006, La Costa’s all-new Executive Learning Center became the final, and
newest, addition to the resort’s 100,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor
meeting and banquet facilities. The space, originally home of the legendary La
Costa Theatre (site of the original Pink
Panther film premiere), was completely renovated to provide meeting guests
a high-tech arena befitting for speaking engagements, interactive lectures and
meetings.
La
Costa’s Executive Learning Center was designed based on International
Association of Conference Centers (IACC) certification and features:
- A capacity of up to 84 people
- Rows of tiered executive chair seating: Each seating area features a “work station” with a
110 outlet and wired plug for Internet access. In addition, chair-side voting
capability and a microphone situated at every other chair, with speaking
buttons to prevent overflow sound, encourages interactivity.
- Technological and AV equipment: A rear screen projection boasts split screen
capability, the speaker podium’s AV controls allow full control of the room,
and a production room located in rear of the Center enables behind-the-scenes
AV and production support for seamless work sessions.
