One of the longest holes at La Costa, this dogleg right has
matching bunkers left and right. The wind normally blows right
to left, and a straight tee shot is imperative. Use course
management on your second shot to leave yourself a full pitching
wedge or sand wedge in to the green, allowing you to hit over
the extremely difficult bunkers that guard this two-tiered
green. The front tier is only about 25 feet deep so beware
that if you land the ball there with too much spin, it may
roll back and off the green, leaving you with a chip for your
4th shot.
