A: It means if you're booking a room on a KSL Resorts-Branded Website you will find the lowest available online rate.
Q: What is the Best Room Rate Guaranteed Online Rate Guarantee?
A: If you find a lower room rate on another online travel site -for the same location, for the same date(s), same room type, same bed type, same number of guests and same rate terms or restrictions within 24 hours after, making a reservation through a KSL Resorts-Branded Website, and 24 hours before scheduled arrival, of making your Best Room Rate Guaranteed booking on KSL Resorts-Branded Website, KSL Resorts will honor the lower rate AND discount that rate by 15%. Q: If I find a lower price, how do I take advantage of the rate match?
A: All you need to do is complete our Claims Form and meet the Terms and Conditions. If the lower rate on another travel website can be verified, we will match the rate shown plus pay you 15% of the difference in price. Payment of the difference in rates, is made subject to these Terms and Conditions, and will be credited to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation, within thirty (30) business days.
Q:Who do I contact if I see a lower rate on another website?
A. Please contact KSL Resorts by emailing bestrate@lacosta.com to request a Best Room Rate OnLine Rate Guarantee Claims Form (the “Claim Form”).
Q: When will I know if my rate will be adjusted?
A. All claims will be handled promptly upon receipt of your Claim Form. The BEST RATE DEPARTMENT Representative will go to the web site where the lower rate was found and ensure it is for the same Terms and Conditions as the KSL Resorts-Branded Website and for the same length of stay. If the claim qualifies, they will apply lower rate to your confirmed booking plus the 15% discount by contacting you with a modified reservation number, if you already had a reservation, or will contact you with an offer to make a reservation at a new Best Room Rate Guaranteed Online Rate.Please visit the Terms and Conditions for more details.
Q: Do I need to make a reservation in order to submit a claim?
A: No. A reservation is not required.
Q: Do I need to submit a screen shot of the external site?
A: No. Just submit the required information as listed on the Terms and Conditions.
Q:Do I have to present anything to the hotel upon check-in?
A: Please present your reservation confirmation numberat time of check-in.
Q:Does the Best Room Rate Guaranteed Online Rate Guarantee apply to taxes and surcharges?
A: The guarantee applies to the room rate only.
Q: I made a reservation on a non-KSL Resorts-Branded Web site for a higher rate than I found on KSL Resorts-Branded Website. Do I have a valid claim?
A: No. We do not guarantee that non-KSL Resorts reservation channels won't have higher rates. You may cancel the Web site reservation and reserve directly with KSL Resorts if you desire, keeping in mind that KSL Resorts is not responsible for any cancellation or change fees.
Q: How can I tell if the room types are comparable?
A: In reviewing the Claim Form, your BEST RATE DEPARTMENT will consider size, view, amenities, number of guests, and bed type when comparing room type. Each factor must be the same to verify a claim. For example, a room with a queen bed will be compared with a room with a queen bed. A room on the concierge floor will be compared with a similar room on the concierge floor. A room with an ocean view will be compared to a similar view.
