Spa Week To Promote Wellness in 2010
La Costa Resort and Spa to participate in annual Spa Week event
with a selection of $50 treatments
Carlsbad, Calif. – March 2010- With a renewed focus on wellness in 2010, The Spa at La Costa will participate for the first time in the annual Spring Spa Week Event, April 12-18, 2010. Spa Week is designed to introduce a new generation of consumers to the benefits of a healthy lifestyle by making spa treatments accessible to more people with $50 spa treatments at spas throughout North America. Spa Week has spent the last 6 years turning “wellness” from a mere buzzword into a healthy reality.

Consultation with Ingo Loge
(45 minutes, normally $155)
Based at The Spa at La Costa, Ingo Loge is a nutritional life coach. Loge specializes in creating individual food fingerprints, which identify the type of foods a client’s body absorbs well and which foods they should avoid. Reflexology Treatment
(50 minutes, normally $165)
Relieve tension, improve circulation and promote healing through stimulation of the reflex areas in the hands and feet. No oils or lotions are used in this natural healing technique that relaxes the entire body. Reservations required and can be made by calling 760-931-7570.
Feng Shui Manicure
(60 minutes, normally $65)
Gracefully direct the body’s energy flow with well manicured hands. This experience includes a cleansing of the hands, relaxing hand and lower arm massage, exfoliation and emollient balm, all followed by the finishing touches of nail shaping, Feng shui oil cuticle conditioning and polish application.
